...all hands on deck.

"She was my Moneypenny first, did you hear me Bond??"

The Euro is too expensive of a proposition for the secondary economies of the World. Gold leverages the financial conversation abroad and allows for a free-associative interpretation of the financial markets in Eurasia. As a commodity it is soluble and makes for viscosity in currency trading in Germany, Japan and to a lesser extent France. This opens up the discussion with China and other nation-states which act as clearing houses for the middle markets. Turkey was allowed to participate as a NATO-based option for Western Global resolve but the West failed to realize that democracy and global positioning require a wider platform for the parlayance of diversified interest—it is the basis for sovereignty.
Attempts at sanctioning have been and are premature, additionally not letting the Global Markets adjust only give rise to tension that can be deemed as useless if not spurious to a long-term American outlook. Can the Americans really ride the wave to becoming a second-rate first world country?  Is it a wise strategy? Gold trading will filter out the poor speculative trading malaise and foster good economic karma in the Middle East, Asia and the countries within the EU (read: Europa) that cannot afford the luxury of the current Euro operating expense. Play to pay is what inadvertently drives diplomatic agendas and can prove to be a stutter-step over the next several years. Beating up on Turkey is for girls, they’re getting to be all grown-up as they say and the World needs to really appreciate this as fact-- it is good for prosperity and furthers world discourse.
I have said this before, and I will say it again, the CBs of the World need some breathing room and the Euro is too one dimensional for the hassle (read: bottle-necking) that it has produced to date. If Russia and China play a world game that they are capable of they will be looking for value and a strategy that will allow for a long-term repositioning of resources and ideology. The Middle East may very well follow suit by removing diplomatic the hand holding that has arisen out of the West. We cannot nickel and dime democracy as a tool for diplomacy such actioning is corrosive to the global free-market dialogue. Trading gold cannot be looked upon as negative and should not be seen as an overly altruistic approach towards problem-solving.

THINK: Benchmarking, SWIFT, Autonomy, Economics, and Over-sanctioning.

Cleaning House, My FaceBook Digest

I'm sexy and I'm done for the day.

I am thinking about a book- this is true, but I am also looking ahead to some promising meetings and would like to contribute to world accord via a mixture of  digital-outlets + content. That being said, I will not be couching it in the Adirondacks much longer and will apply innovation as a poultice to my chi and to the collective-conscience (read: digital ego) of the Internet. I've also been thinking about the schism between Grammar and Syntax and what allows for experimentation in Writing let alone Style.

The connumdrum presented is the gum beneath my sock and heel. It is the annoyance of the chirping half-wit that feels required to perch at my sill. Mirth withstanding these (3) snippets are partially from my personal FaceBook account not that FB is that private or personable anymore. The Intelligentsia has experienced a lot of turbulence and the world has been in a holding pattern of late trying to discern what's next and who is serving it up with glee.

Worry not sportsfans, the Intelligentsia shall never perish and I shall never falter.  I once knew a Bronx negativist who'd lie here in the public space. He'd tell everybody that he lived on the Upper West Side and that he bought cool Surf & Skate gear as a teen. Now he has taken to e-mailing me here and has told me he's starting a Shillaylee Pin-Up club for ex-Yankee fans on-line. He's become Bostonian poop, (I am returning to my point soon..,) we no longer friend as we once did not b/c of his newly found Shillaylee complex (read: neurosis); but because he tried to shun our friendship for a vacant sense of accomplishment.

What a pill? He closet reads my work, vehmently denies it to himself and proceeds to send links around the globe to supplant his small intellect and short stature-- Yep, he's  become the butt-muncher next to the ash-tray sipping imported iced tea. Truthfully, that's so not digital and a really sloven attempt at [social] upward mobility with the snark.

Be Cool unto those that 'fight the complex' and GodSpeed to those that 'bring good messages,' these snippets from my FaceBook [+JO.] account are for you.

Consider them media-drivers and guideposts for taste when world opinion, province and dominion have lost all sense of itself.

A Clean [State] Machine: ASSIDUITY if JCOPE is still going on?
Tuesday, September 11, 2012

So, is it a Jet score or a Giant scrimmage?
Vito Lopez has to lose his committee appointment and Shelly Silver has to step down as Speaker of the Assembly. [point-blank] It doesn't matter how you slice it or dice it, if you contemplate reaching for the money, if your hand is over the money or if you actually grasp the money you're still not Kosher anymore (Yep.)...I like Shelly too but if over $120,000 dollars ends up in your pocket then what's the State to do? The thing to note is not whether Lopez had a "Lewinsky-like" Aide in the Office; it was the timing of her claim: ...FISHY, FISHY, FISHY. Furthermore, this smells like a shake-up all smoke and mirrors aside...

"Personally, I can live with V.E. Cook calling shots in the (518) but I cannot live with (3) Democratic Boss families in the Press for wrong doings which could and should've been avoided
:-/

The GOP is right if they are demanding swift Justice in the Empire State. Letting high priced lawyers mouth-off things like, "...guilty with explanation your Honor." is utter non-sense. Happy hands and traditional politics don't mix and should never be placed before any decision-making body..."

((---> Rivera + Silver + Lopez = Bronx / Manhattan / Brooklyn ))

The last (2) Dems that ran the Governor's Office ended in turmoil Spitzer went to jail for cumquat-picking (read: prostitution) and Harlem Dem Patterson had the NY Senate close their doors in a vote of NO confidence. Remember what happened when he decided to run for a 2nd term?? This is a case of the blind leading the blind (again) and an overtly complacent (read: accommodating) slew of politicos turning a blind eye. Pataki + Cuomo Sr. were not of that ilk and I hope to God that former AG Cuomo cleans house. The DCCC should not have settled for a NC driven convention...the Big Apple had the right stuff and needed the revenue. Buffalo and the world-famous Niagra Falls would have been a great alternative choice for NYS too. This is no spin sports-fans (1) word: RINSE.

(( Rail-road Buzz ))

Bickers and Berry spoke of a Mitt victory in early 2012 polls...but the concerns for the GOP head-honchos should revolve around more than just immigration. Jan Brewer probably has a few choice words for what I think of her state practices :-/ but I think Arizona is honestly on the mend...they're finding a way to heal the housing bubble and keep the American Dream alive. Taking a hit on building expenditures over the last 4Q to 8Q was wise and was a TARP-able consequence but allowing people the right to prosper is a wiser move altogether...It's not ~perfect and it’s ‘mos def’ not the Floridian approach but it is something worth looking at: TWT...

That being said, I personally I don't think immigration is that pivotal as the Health-care conundrum we have brewing in the United States. Meth and Mesc. based disease (TB + Hep. C + HPV) are the real sticking points with me @ Id. They’re what the DHS, DEA, ATF and FBI respectively deem as the game-changers in the fabrics (read: sub-strata) of the United States. Couple this with the narcoleptic approach towards HIV/AIDS and we can begin to see where counter-culture attitudes dilute our Providence and undermine Provision. --> Think: CSX now WITT = What Is The Thread?

Lastly, in the slippery economy we live in, I have cheered for a rise in the +DOW (13065.90) over the last 18 months but that is *after* we "collectively" get tougher on our European counter-parts...we s/b at 15000.00. Globally we cannot carry innovation alone; if there is another to harness the might of the EU they need to be courted now. British wit and foibles aside...the EU won the bloody Noble Peace Prize. Consequentially, I am still big on France, Germany and leaning towards Russia. Playing the shell game with the secondary powers of Europe is not politically safe for either party at this juncture and let's not forget the tentative posturing the United States took towards [As]Syria, instigating an Contra/Sandanista-like melo-drama in the ME is irresponsible.

LASTCALL to #44: I pray that real unemployment dips under 5% over the next Presidential term regardless of the victor for we have accrued far too many [economic]casualties. WWBBD? (What Would Big Bird Do?) Ultimately, you were on a 90 a year pace- so what gives? I won't quit...

Imagine if your shoe-polish had this snazzy logo on it?

The No. 2 Slot
Saturday, August 11, 2012

Mitt Romney choose an outsider to run the no. 2 slot against Biden. (yikes!)
Susana Martinez is still the right answer sportsfans. At least she would have made the photo-op real in additition to making sure that there was some rice for Barack's tired, poor and hungry.

"Old Delaware kicked Ryan where the sun don't shine...the RNC leadership said the day after the debate his burps smelled like Kiwi polish."
-FaceBook User
On the Vice Presidential Debates, 2012

Electorally, the Hon. Gov. Martinez would have split the Midwest and carried Arizona --> Florida, while allowing Mitt the opportunity to 'wow' the Northeast corridor and the growing Hispanic electorate. Utah and ~Massachusetts voters know this already. The RNC Convention should have courted The Lost 1% and The Tea Party faction in tandem as evidenced by the Ron Paul effect. Texans would you please stand-up and take a bow.

What makes this even worse is that I called his Northeastern head honcho and she balked. When I asked here about a RNC digital presence in New York State she had notta thing to say. She admitted the state that houses Wall Street was already a win for Barry and Ol' Delaware. Now if Big Bird gets a cabinet appointment after this one then what does that say for Middle Eastern relations? I dunno...but I've noticed that we do "kill and sanction" everyone that we don't agree with and what makes matters worse-- we are a censored nation-state :-(

"Ohio is not going to be called until 11/2/12 @ approx. 10-11 p.m. est...

The debates should be very candid-- from a media perspective Mitt blew the Christian Conservative Mvmt. by inadvertantly attacking Gen X (45-35 yo), Gen Y (35-25 yo) and the Millenials (25-15 yo) who were raised on Public Television [and BB-TV]...he showed a vulnerable achilles heel that may not be too fit to mend the United States globally if he cannot...relate locally :-/ (wow!)"
-FaceBook User

#44 will play the low-post game and has to shy away from the “give and go” strategy that won him the title of Commander-in-Chief last election cycle. He also has to play fair with the Noble Prize winning strategy of the EU which may be counter-intutitive to debt reduction efforts here in the Americas. Additionally, he will have to hope that the internet will remain a true cash cow as it did when the word "Hope" meant something...The 1% are not happy with Barry & Co. especially in States like Wall_Street (read: New York) and California.

Democrats will really need to play up the sentiment of the Big Bird loving Blue Dogs in States like Georgia, Pennsylvania and Kentucky while *not* catering to Progressive Liberal Democrats who don't really raise the kind of money needed for strong 2012. If the RNC gets PSAs from Condi Rice, Rick Rubio, Rudy Giuliani, and Mike Huckabee that could spell Chi-town troublenow go ask Joe the Plumber. ADOREMOS!

Changing Gears

I have been doing a lot of thinking and might be putting Creative Tectonics to rest for the interim and will be focusing on a book methinks. There are one of two things that I want to post but I have to mull them over for now. I have met some pretty interesting people in   DC + NYC + SF  and although I am not a comb-over pseudo conservative, I do believe in the American Dream and the 2.5 stemcell babies that are allotted as a result of it's innovation-- so sit tight and do fall short of the intended reality :-)

Settling-Up with Liberty

"I too feel like Chuck..."

I moved to Washington to gain additional 'work' experience and wound up in a small boutique lobbying firm where I was exposed to the Government at the Federal level. There I worked as a Consultant for the founder of the firm where I worked on Intelligence related matters and Military based research. I developed a niche expertise in Cyber as it pertained to Legislative Trajectory, and DHS insights etc. The gentlemen I worked for also covered areas related to missile defense and my work was received in Quantico, Fort Meade, Fort Myers, and Andrews AFB by select members of the Military, FBI and CIA included.

In this capacity, I worked on Intelligence and Surveillance Reports and created a 10-Yr. Survey on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle usage by region, Ministry Of Defense, and by international defense contractor. I also worked on a J.N.L.W.P. (Fed-Biz Ops) research/application for a French-based company looking to interface with the government on R&DTE related level. They were looking to change their core business competencies from green medical laser usage and to non-lethal weapons collaboration with the Marine Corp. There were other projects that I worked on that were non-civilian based and were not made for public knowledge and consumption; the knowledge acquired from these experiences allowed me to advise the firm on UAV initiatives in India after a Department of Homeland Security released a memo of understanding which was signed by both countries to explore DHS collaboration in India.

In addition to this, I independently authored and researched a 2010 Cyber Initiatives Report which outlined the totality to Cyber and provided the Congressional DHS Committee and the Intelligence Community a concise and accurate definition on what constitutes a Cyber Attack. The report was well received by members of the United States Senate and Congress - SASC, HASC, and House DHS. At one point I worked for a former advisor to the Bush Administration which required more than what most can endure, in and around this time I wrote on Stuxnet, the Geopolitcal consequences of Cyber, ARMY AGE and sat in on a NATO exercise.

After this period in my life I took time off to rethink how I might re-enter Washington DC. As an appreciator of Media, Law and the American-Body Politic in general, Civil Domicility needed to be addressed given the trends in legislative agenda making: however, the judical litmus kept missing the mark- California's Prop 8 included.

The idea of Gay Marriage, Same-Sex Marriage and Civil Unions sound noble but discounted the inclusionary spirit of invention by encroaching on that which is Holy. The Bill of Rights allows for an "elastic interpretation" without defamatory heavy handedness- that which can arise when a group feels the need to co-opt language that has other intent and implication. In isolation, the arguement is not steeped in religion but in Civil Rights for all of the Union and her inhabitants.

As such the work was futher developed and shared but, to my dismay, I found my work molested by a few nefarious law offices despite my good intentions, and I've been presently seeking Justice and legal recourse north of New York City. This leaves me in  kind of a strange perdicament because "CT" was seen as the MIB hot-sheets for certain media, governement and military enclaves. To be rail-roaded in my home-state as such was not only short-handed, it is making me question whether Liberty and democracy can ever share the same address in a state such as this one.

I wanted to work for Team OBAMA 2012 this year. The campaign undoubtedly sets the democratic tone for the next twenty-years, as someone that has worked in Military and Intelligence community I know the Art of Campaign. As someone that has worked in Advertising, I know how to leverage message with the torque of trans-digital dissemination and production- whether mobi/wap/web, TV, and radio. As someone that believes in the Constitution and in the concepts of Equality and Equanimity I am stumped like Charlie Brown. Why did Lucy move the football this time?

In this here 'space' I've also included some additional writings that were composed in Washington DC, Creative Tectonics housed Military related blog entries which were spillage from what I was exposed too, nothing too serious...All of it was what I considered civilian-grade material, and not a threat to U.S. National Security, they were written on a level'd plane and with the sound understanding of integrity. The one thing I took from my experiences in DC is that the solvency of central government is essnetial to the Republic.

Will I return? I really can't say...Do I undersatand Mother and all of [his] incarnations- both here and abroad? With some level of authority and comfort I can say that I do. Justice is an integral part of Globalisation and an intergral part of prosperity, providence and provision. I am not one to ridicule the fabric of a Nation and I have never been close-minded in my Americanisms. But today finds me looking for Liberty and fighting for my right to be counted among you all.

SIDEBAR: Yes Mom, I still date women and will probably get married someday.

A Postscript to U.S. Foreign Policy

Greetings, these are my thoughts on a World without Ossama Bin-Laden

Ten years of hide and seek have culminated as the worst case of media diatribe-- now in some circles, there seems to be a sense of closure regarding in the incidents which reached critical mass on September 11th over a decade ago. One has to admit, that even if you lost a loved one either as a hero or a victim, the way in which the events were handled by the media could at times border on the sensational. Geraldo Rivera banned from the Middle East, another reporter returning home severely injured (without a medal of honor) for exposé style news coverage. Generals jet-setting to Paris for a round of drinks with the boys, replete with a handy Rolling Stone page eager to record his every breathe. These are but a few of the images that have made the front page of the morning edition and some of the news that has reached your cell phone's screen.

As one who has a healthy appetite for media, I do not bathe in the satire shows on FOX and I will not sit starry-eyed looking at the the Sunday morning news line-up. However, I may have to say that life after Ossama is not be as bad as people think and it may lead us to believe that the sky is not falling. The War on Terror in Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan are dramatic, an extreme ode to American brawn as well as a lesson in futility. Democracy however tender and tenuous in the United States is still a commodity that cannot be sold or implemented abroad with the vigor that previous administrations believed possible.  Quite frankly we'd require Muckety version 5.0 to make sense of the Middle East as a region. Have we won? What did we accomplish? First there were WMD's and then a salacious confrontation with Hans Blick, that blended into conversations of Taliban, al-Qa'ida and a general campaign on Terror.

The reality is that life after Bin Laden is as much about America as it is about the global politics. America has placed itself in the precarious position of being a global leader and policeman. Needless to say, what does that mean to the children of the World, those that were teens and grade-schoolers during the horrific events in New York City? These children have lived in lock step with a one-sided reality that cannot be seen as entirely true. Furthermore, there are children on the other side of the globe that have grown up under Ossma's tutelage and under the perception that all Americans are evil and that they travel with a sense of entitlement.

Many of these children on both sides signed up in eager anticipation to fight a war that could have been quelled with some sort of UN intervention and diplomacy. Those children of 9/11 are now young adults and some have fought for justice others have lost friends in combat as result of poor policy implementation and the inability to change the "news" that has been placed on their laptops, pda's, radios, and television sets. In short, America was able to decapitate the al-Qa'ida Network with a small team of highly trained soldiers and could have probably done so a half decade earlier.

"The policy and sentiment were in ~place but the conundrum then becomes, how does a teacher of democracy become a policeman and how can a policeman teach a principled curriculum?"

On the world stage, we may have allowed too much time to pass and we have lost a grasp on the real issues at hand. Militarily any act of aggression on American soil should be dealt with swiftly (the policeman) and sans a syllabus (the teacher). Additionally, the American government may have indirectly bred a new generation of al-Qa'ida enthusiasts those who've grown up hearing taped lectures and speeches by Ossama and whose perceptions of liberty are shaped by the events in between 9/11 and his death.

The geography of Liberty has been changed as a result of 9/11. What needs to be done now is to assure the generations of the future that the teacher of diplomacy is right and that the policeman need not come to the classroom or the marketplace. This can be achieved in the region only if concerted efforts at Middle Eastern economic growth and Pan-Asian stability are met with actionable plans and if they are discussed openly on the world stage. The Suez Canal talks are but a chintzy offering.

Ossma's passing is a marker in history without question. How he is dealt with in a historical context is another matter altogether. All we can hope is that the word war is further developed into an acronym and that that acronym is "Wisdom And Reason."

A Wiley Black Art

I am not a silly person in Life. I have never been a pine-rider or a person that feigns and fawns at a worked canvas but this is a person's work who I dig. It is because the work drives the word fusion to a place of contemporary understanding. Other than that I have been staying in the Adirondacks and can't wait to split :-/ If good news comes from either Toronto or New York City I will leave with the quickness, the swiftness and the rapidness. The bag is packed and I am cosmically praying that the Universe pays heed to my prayers. Part of this City is crazy in the old gypsy Transylvania sort of a way and the other part of it is too dumb to work towards any kind of concensus. A good friend of mine would say that Albany is the only city in the planet that has a Department of Redundancy Department.

KW a modern master rooted in Harlem.

As a visualist and a provocateur of Art I have to say that Kehinde Wiley is one of the first painters of African-American ancestry to re-address the conversation of Black Art. He is creative enough to graciously give Jean-Michel Basquiat's work the appropriate time to rest and regroup within the pantheon of painters that have emerged from New York City.

His work goes beyond the over used dialogue that is found in in various Art Journals and Gallery Reviews. It goes beyond words like refreshing and clearly is an overstatement when using words like juxtaposition and verve. The vocabulary deliberately borrows letters from the annuls of the past (Titian) but does not clumsily enter into the world of visual plagiarism. His painting poses a muscularity that resembles nothing in contemporary Art today. It resonates a vocabulary that is tangible and the read, like good literature, extends beyond the wine and fromage that openings tend to be littered with.

Masters like Tiepolo share the same composite (read: makeup) but take their own direction due to their unique places in the global Art Continuum. The body of work that Mr. Wiley has produced does not shirk at this responsibility, in fact, he does the same as his historical cohorts. Figuratively he makes the reader/viewer re-addresses the syntax found in gesture. He makes us ask "What does it mean to see the body in repose, or the positions that one may associate with regalia, plenty, and might?"

His style has form and it has found a rhythm that lends itself to an open-minded audience and in all reality I really appreciate the wit and chemistry he produces @ paint and brush. To further your NYC Art vocabulary please visit www.kehindewiley.com

Internet TV @22°

"Internet TV is the new Sybil, 22 answers short of a Solution."

PROLOGUE & UPDATE: Hi. I have not written here in a while I had some problems with the "man" and a dirty priest who hacked into my account to f#ck with the intergrity of this site. These guys should be accustomed to jerkin' off and getting drunk on cheap sacristy wine...(jeez.) Things have been a little crazy but that is Life.

To ward off evil I bought my first shillaylee like King Gubu except I left the 1/5 of Scotch with the Barsmaid. Yep, nothing but top shelf for the mean-spirited. As an aside, the Intelligentsia will be happy to know that this installation of CT has brought me full-circle as I am pondering the construct of Internet TV and it's many reiterations to date. I have also been pondering +GLOMSITE which was the first daily style inspiration system to grace the internet and to totally impact Media + _Alt-Culture and Style. Placed on tumblr it was the brain-trust of the Intelligentsia and was really not deliberated on as such until the snarking and accoloades slowly subsided. The cool thing is that it is still used as reference for alt-thinking and fresh-dipped style (THINK //haute// in Times New Roman or Helvetica Neue) it has been "biten" by Facebook enthusiasts and social-media schmucks alike; all looking to capture what Global Life One Meaning, Mantra, Matrix and Music was all about without wanting to host the idea of eros as sentient and vaild.

What really happened? Hmmm, Ollander Smith and myself had entertainment slackers 'shuck and jive' at the projects trajectory- in addition to one piss-poor programmer who couldn't cut the mustard and didn't understand the cannoli or the croisant as part of a balanced diet. We had to hybernate for several months and the culture vultures came shortly thereafter to turn over pebbled rocks and still others tried to duvulge who were-- not sexy, not sexy indeed. I will however re-print the Editor's letter here for additional clarification and thank all those that made the ((+Real Style Syndicate)) and the ((+DSIS)) a splash. We may very well rebirth but that's after all the slackness has past. +JO.

(2) words: World Intimacy...

Here is the Internet and my thoughts on a televised future hereafter. All with a cup of Joe and a shillaylee like King Gubu.

Internet TV as a means of innovation and as the ideal platter for tans-digital communication has never been a misnomer. There have been many varying schools of thought as to which is the best way to deliver content, however, most of these modalities are solely based on existing idea (read: content) and eCRM platforms. That as an aside, there are two companies that have entered into this still embryonic market of Internet Television with some semblance of insight.

Google has been a pendulum with regards to Internet Television-- a Sybil with 22 different personalities, a search engine that does and a par for the course social networking mechanism that allows you to Orkut :-| Even though, some may think that Google is or has been suffering from D.i.D. (Dissociative identity Disorder) that's not the point that is being made here. The 22 personalities of Google have had many suitors and many who have come to 'woo' the heavy-set albeit sure footed search engine and mother to the nefariously cool Android...

The next iteration of Internet TV will encounter a few obstacles before implementation and integration can become complete. What does this mean for the end-user? The one eager to get in front of the technological bell's curve, Sybil (read: Google) has a few surprises and her ability to be multiplicitious, meticulous, and accommodating stems from the fact that market share, eCRM, and innovation have all shined upon her at the same time; plus her child (Android) needs to be fed- a mother will to do what mother has to do.

Google Television is powered by Intel and further supported by Sony peripherals. Does this mean that your television will just become an over-sized laptop in your living room? Pretty much. Technological convergence is akin to Damascus in that all roads lead to it, it is like the yellow brick road-- stay on course and you'll get there...eventually. Now, if the Wizard can be conceivably paralleled to Internet TV then the end-user, you and I, are off to see what wonders can be granted. The new commuter-rail mantra will be "I wish I was home, I wish I was home..."

According to various sources the Google Internet TV is bundled with Hulu but who isn't these days. Hulu comes standard with most HP products as of late; and they've been hugging the batter's box for quite some time, so it will be hard to throw anything directly into the mit. YouTube has been thrown in as a gimme and for good measure given the aggregate number of users who suffer from cross-platform nervosa. One hub, one source is the key at this point; the kicker in the deal becomes how to successfully integrate Sony TV + Audio, Playstation, and the Sony Music Catalog with an Android driven OS? Attractive as this may seem, it will still have to accommodate Apple peripherals and I-Tunes software to really be seen an attractive value. Steve Job's Apple is the new Magnavox/RCA/Zenith.

Compound this with Sybil's (oops...I mean Google's) ability to serve Ads on the Internet and that's when we will begin to see forward thinking coupled with present day application. The dilemma then becomes how does one solidify market-share and legitimize the added expense_pass-on to the end-user? For a company like Sony, Google's Internet TV may provide the appropriate platform to distribute content and at a price point that Sony is willing to live with.

My only reservation about Internet TV on the whole, is that the Internet- as an entity, allows for developers to contribute to the Internet's growth and it's dialogue. While, Television being a passive medium, does not allow for bundled SDKs and does not really allow us to move from the previous Nielsen model of interactivity; It is static at best and may hinder the viral intent that Internet Television proponents tout. The other concern may be how financiers and marketeers handle application development and deployment. SDK's and constantly evolving standards will make it an expensive proposition within the acquisition-chain; furthermore, apps may have new approval times and additional mark-up languages that will have to be compatible with trans-digital deployment and communication.

+JO.

ENDNOTES: Will Google be willing to allow Joe the Plumber's son to develop a product, even if he went to CalTech? Will Google let their son Android date whom ever he pleases? Will the end-user be asked to order the 'Orkut' as the required veggie side-dish in the Google Internet Television smorgasbord? (grin) Questions by the mouthful, no? In the meantime keep your remotes handy and don't pawn the extra Blue Ray or DVD player you got for X-Mas last year. "The Internet TV is like a box of chocolates...go ask the King."
